Bulldog Orientation, Advisement & Registration

We facilitate the successful transition of new students to UMD through our Orientation, Advisement & Registration (OAR) program.

Financial Aid Education

One Stop Student Services

One Stop provides expert advice regarding financial aid, student records, registration, billing, payment, transcripts, forms, and processes. There are several ways to contact a One Stop Counselor (phone, email, in-person, zoom) and we look forward to assisting you.

Student Success Coaching

Student Success Coaching appointments are available to all undergraduate students at UMD. Call (218) 726-6393, send us an email at [email protected], or stop by the Bulldog Resource Center in 23 Solon Campus Center.

Financial Wellness

We offer one-on-one financial consultations upon request, online modules and resources, and workshops. To make an appointment and access our learning modules, see the Financial Wellness website.

The Gathering Place

This space is located in 42 Solon Campus Center (the “Wedge”) and is available for students alone or in groups to hang out, eat lunch, study, play games, color, doodle, or zentangle for stress reduction. Supplies and board games are available on the shelves.

If you need assistance with something but don’t know what office on campus to go to, ask us.  We will help you get connected with the resources you are looking for.  Stop by the BRC in Solon Campus Center (the wedge), or call us at (218) 726-6393, or send us an email at [email protected].

Veteran Services & Lounge

The Veteran Services Coordinator is the point of contact for veterans, service members, and their dependents, to assist with education benefits and veteran resources. The student Veterans Lounge is located in 60 Solon Campus Center.

PSEO

We coordinate the Post-Secondary Education Opportunity (PSEO) program for UMD.  Our PSEO advisor assists high school students with advising, registration, and orientation for those taking college classes through this program, and supports students in meeting academic, career, and personal goals.

Non-Degree Seeking/Guest Student Services

We provide advising and support for non-degree seeking students (guest students) wishing to register for courses at UMD. This includes support for those taking courses through the Senior Citizen Education Program. Contact One Stop for assistance.
